Saturday, Aug. 11

  • 4 to 6:30 p.m.: Community barbecue served by Moffat County High School Girls Basketball Program (Covered Picnic Area)
  • 5:30 p.m.: 4-H and FFA awards (Livestock Barn)
  • 6:30 p.m.: 4-H and FFA Junior Livestock Sale (Livestock Barn)
  • 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Street dance sponsored by Moffat County 4-H Council (Midway)

  • Open Horse Show entries due.

  • Air Rifle and Air Pistol Completion Shoot (Fairgrounds)

  • .22 Pistol Completion Shoot (Bear's Ears Sportsman Club)

  • 9 a.m.: Working Ranch Horse Jackpot (Arena)
  • 10 a.m: Open Dog Agility followed by ice cream social (Grass Area)

Monday, Aug. 6

  • 8 a.m.: 4-H and FFA Halter and Performance Horse Show (Arena)

Tuesday, Aug. 7

  • 8 a.m.: 4-H Dog Show (Livestock Barn)
  • 5 p.m.: Pen assignments for livestock posted (Livestock Barn)
  • 6 to 8 p.m.: Accept open class entries (Pavilion)

Wednesday, Aug. 8

  • 8 to 11 a.m.: Entry of youth and open class, home economics, junior crops and horticulture and wool exhibits. Entries will close promptly at 11 a.m. (Pavilion)
  • 10 a.m. to noon: Weigh-in of market sheep and market goats. Junior Division breeding sheep and breeding goats may also be checked in at this time. (Livestock Barn)
  • 12:30 p.m. Judging of Pavilion entries. Pavilion will be closed until Thursday morning. (Pavilion)
  • 1 to 3 p.m.: Weigh-in of market beef. Junior Division breeding beef may be checked in at the east end of the Livestock Barn at this time. (Livestock Barn)
  • 5 p.m.: Sheep Show (Livestock Barn)
  • Showmanship (senior, intermediated and junior)

  • Noon: Rabbit Show (Rabbit and Poultry Barn)

3 to 5 p.m.: Belt buckle distribution (Livestock Barn)

  • 5 p.m.: Small animal round robin showmanship contest (Livestock Barn)
  • 7 p.m.: Diamond Rio concert (Arena)

Saturday, Aug. 11

  • 7:30 to 9 a.m.: Free pancake breakfast served by FFA (Covered Picnic Area)
  • 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Grandstand and Pavilion open.
  • 8:30 a.m.: Large animal round robin showmanship contest (Livestock Barn)
  • 9 a.m.: Firefighter agility course and fun run.
  • 9:30 a.m.: Entries due for cowboy baby, sheep lead and bucket calf contest (Barn Office)
  • 9:30 a.m.: Entries open for the Iron Horse Show
  • 10 a.m. to noon: Belt Buckle Distribution (Livestock Barn)
  • 10 a.m.: Tractor driving contest (Arena)
  • 10 a.m.: Rabbit Fun Day and costume contest (Grassy Area)
  • 10 a.m.: Live entertainment, games, music, inflatable activities, mechanical bull, climbing wall, putt putt golf (Grassy Area)
  • 10-11 a.m.: Entries for homemade salsa and guacamole contests (Pavilion)
  • 10 a.m.: Bucket calf contest (Livestock Barn)
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Ranch Games (Track)
  • 10:30 a.m.: Sheep lead contest (Livestock Barn)
